Henry Shires: A Life of Stories from Poetry to Publicity

 Oxford University educated Henry Shires is an award winning (a Winner of Australian Poetry Idol 2011) and published poet, writer and newspaper columnist.
He has been the afterschool club (“Write Club”) Creative Writing Tutor and Poet in Residence for Melbourne Montessori School, Caulfield and Brighton for the last three years and was a recent judge of the Glen Eira My Brother Jack Literary Awards for two years in a row.
A previous media director for Virgin Atlantic’s Inflight Media including it’s award winning Hot Air magazine and a feature writer/agony uncle for UK Cosmopolitan’s sister magazine, Company, he is also one of the regular celebrity readers of the Tales Out Loud program of readings for adults for City of Stonington Libraries.
